The Truth Behind Buy One Get One Free Coupon Use

The economy is making it difficult for people to purchase the items needed let alone items that luxury and not must have products. I was one of those customers moaning and groaning as the person in front of me sorted through coupons looking for one valid for each item in their cart. That was before I heard the savings of a customer in front of me one day. The lady had just saved almost seventy dollars on her purchases. I broke down and ask how she managed to save that much money. I knew she had coupons, I just was not aware of the type. She told me the best ones she had were the buy one get one free coupons.

Finally it was my turn at the register. Having no coupons to present for my purchases my total came to much more than the coupon ladies and I had a severely smaller amount of items than her. I grumbled all the way home and swore I would find out about the coupon gold mine.

I found coupons for things I never dreamed would have a discount available. As a kid my mom spent half of every Sunday cutting coupons from the paper, but I had no clue just how much money she was saving by spending our Sunday cutting coupons. I though what a better way to start than how mom did it, so I sat down with my paper and began cutting coupons for restaurants, car care and even a pack of diapers I could buy for my grandson.

I admit I was excited over my finds; however, the excitement really hit me when I found a coupon for an expensive spa I had been dying to try but never had the cash for. The coupon was for “me and a friend” to get free massages with purchase of pedicure and manicure. That was the most relaxing three hours I ever spent with my sister. We got treated like royalty for three hours at cost of a measly thirty dollars. This experience convinced there really is something to this coupon thing. I am now hooked and do my fair share of holding up the line at the grocery store.

The grocery store is a great place for using coupons, but the ones available for restaurants are really great. There are coupons available for pizza, fast food and fine dining. Before using the coupon read it thoroughly as sometimes it will be only valid on certain days and times or on specific items.

Some coupons may appear great when you first notice them; however, it is important to read the requirements of some. If you have found a coupon for fifty cents off of your favorite muffin, but have to buy a five dollar package of tofu with the muffins and you do not eat tofu, the fifty cents will not be a savings when you throw away the tofu. In other words, do not buy unnecessary items you will not use to save on items you will use.

It does take time to find and cut out all of the coupons you will need, but if you use them it will be well worth the effort. Newspapers are the best place to start your coupon collection. Sunday papers are loaded with them. If you prefer to get your coupons online, there are sites that will send them directly to your email.

Coupons will make a big dent in the final cost at the cash register. You have to be dedicated to finding them and using them. Store ads will often times offer buy one get one free coupon for weekly items so check the store ads as well as the newspaper and online.

Could the Travelocity promo code available right now save you lots of money on your next vacation? Absolutely.
